Photographic Memory Review: Does Photoreading really help develop it?
Photographic Memory Review: Does Photoreading really help develop it?
We are all born with a photographic memory however, as we mature lose our ability to use it. It is this loss of ability that explains the difficulties I had in School and why I was performing poorly in my current studies.
In 2009, I read a book on PhotoReading, by Paul Scheele and through that, two Photo Reading seminars. Despite the promise of the seminars to help access the Photographic Memory, the instructor was unable to demonstrate their own eidetic memory and it made me question the validity of the Photoreading claims.
Although I was disappointed with the results from the PhotoReading seminars, I continued to investigate and found that it had its origins in Brain Management – and that there was far more to Mental Photography than just photo reading.
Whilst Photo Reading is similar to Brain Management, there is no comparison between the two.
Brain Management provides specific instructions on how to train specific mental muscles to develop your eidetic memory, provides exercises that are required and at the same time prepare you mentally for your journey ahead. The Brain Management program not only provides skills to develop Mental Photography, it also provides tools that assist you in becoming the person you truly want to be.
Photo Reading , on the other hand, tells you to "Go" but does not provide the tools or support provided.
When comparing the two, Brain Management is like having a light turned on – Brain Management makes it easy to learn, a very vast and complex system. On the other hand, I felt that Photoreading left me in the dark.
Before Brain Management , I buried my problems and my fears as deep as possible and tried not to be aware of them. After completing the Brain Management training, I have eliminated the word "try" from vocabulary and I'm digging deep to address the buried anxiety and issues. I am much more aware of who I am and what I want in life.
Mental Photography is one part of the Brain Management toolkit that provides the key that unlocks your potential . However, there are more Brain Management tools that will help you become the person you want to be and help you access your photographic memory.
